Brunchin our way around Tacoma
I have made a list and we are going to try out atleast one brunch a month! So I'll update our brunch stops as we go and fill you in on the food, cost, what we loved and what we didn't like. Brunch is fun so why not dress up? I threw on the cutest summer jumpsuit from Target and paired it with our Snow White Tee ($37). This tee is the perfect solid white top with the prettiest lace sleeves and a v-neck. I also carried the Glass Ladder & Co Clutch from the latest Causebox (Check it out in my other blog post)! Lobter Shop is the first brunch we decided to try, it was recommended to me. It didn't look like much on the outside but it is very nice inside, is located on the sound, and has gorgeous views of the waterfront while dining. We even saw some seals swimming around while we wer eating.
I highly suggest making reservations ahead of time as they are usually always full. I tried weeks ahead of time to reserve Mother's Day and Father's Day with no luck. Third times the charm and we got reservations on just a regular Sunday.
I would also suggest getting there early rather than later. Not that the food will run out, but that it gets crowded later in the day. Brunch is an all you cant eat buffet and is a huge spread of tons of different foods.
The breakfast side has pastries, muffins, yogurt parfaits, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, sausage, bacon, eggs, and more.
Also for breakfast are the waffle bar and omelette bar.
The selection of fresh seafood is unbelievable for the price of the buffet. Crab legs, smoked salmon, mussels, lobster brisk, prawns, and more.
There is also a salad bar. The lunch side of the buffet featured lobster mac and cheese, broccoli, jasmine rice, Mongolian beef, chicken, and more.
Ya'll know my favorite part of a meal is dessert, and Lobster Shop did not dissapoint. They had a chocolate fountain with an assortment of delicious bite size desserts.
After brunch we walked around the waterfront park beside the restaurant. Overall I'll give Lobster Shop a 10/10 which will be hard to top since it was our first brunch stop!
